Directors Meeting Minutes

May 19, 2026

In attendance:  President Ross Holloway, Vice President Larry Long, Secretary Ron Wright, Treasurer Tim Standeford, Director Daryl Swinney, and General Manager Herb Cook.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 AM by Ross Holloway.  The Minutes for the Directors meeting held on April 21, 2026 were presented for review/approval.  Tim Standeford moved the minutes be approved as presented.  The motion was seconded by Daryl Swinney and carried unanimously.  Herb Cook gave the Treasurer’s Report.  Ron Wright made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report.  Larry Long seconded the motion and carried unanimously.  Herb Cook gave the Operation’s and Manager’s Report.  Larry Long made a motion to approve the Operation’s and Manager’s Report.  Ron Wright seconded the motion and carried unanimously.

Old Business

  1. Observatory Tank:  Herb Cook reported to the Board that he has spoken to Ms. Neel about the offer to buy 1 acre of her property and she has agreed to sell to Hill Water.  With that being said Ron Wright made a motion to pay the purchase amount and all other associated costs from the construction account.  Daryl Swinney seconded the motion and carried unanimously.

New Business

There was no new business to report at the time of the meeting.

Other Business

  1. 2026 Officer Election:  Daryl Swinney made a motion for the Board Officers to remain as is: President Ross Holloway, Vice President Larry Long, Secretary Ron Wright, and Treasurer Tim Standeford.  Tim Standeford seconded the motion and carried unanimously.

Construction

  1. Echo Lake Rehab:  Herb Cook reported to the Board that the majority of the new water mains on Echo Lake West Dr have been bored in and that they should be done in a couple more weeks.  Hill Water crews have been following behind the bore crews and doing water main tie ins.

With no other business to discuss, Tim Standeford moved for adjournment.  The motion received a second from Ron Wright and carried unanimously.  The next monthly Director’s meeting will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 8:00 AM.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:37 AM.
